DESCRIPTION:\nThe second Information Day of the INSPIRE Project was held on November 14, 2024, in Izmir, with a focus on the “value chain in creative industries.”\nThe event, hosted at Orginn Creative Hub, commenced with an opening speech by Dr. Mehmet YAVUZ, Secretary-General of the Izmir Development Agency, followed by a presentation from Laetitia MANACH, Team Leader representing the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH), the lead partner of the project consortium.\nOne of the keynote speakers, Professor Dr. Pier Luigi SACCO, an Economics Professor at Chieti-Pescara University (Italy) and Senior Advisor to the OECD, shared insights on Türkiye’s potential as a cultural and creative powerhouse, outlining a roadmap for its development.\nDr. Funda LENA provided an overview of the methodology and findings of the first-ever value chain analysis of Türkiye’s creative sectors, conducted within the framework of the INSPIRE Project.
