SUMMARY:INSPIRE Policy Lab #11 Concludes in Ankara: From Shared Values to Action
DESCRIPTION:The 11th and final session of the INSPIRE Policy Lab series was successfully held on June 17, 2025, with an in-person gathering in Ankara. This concluding event marked a significant milestone in the lab process, which aims to make Türkiye’s creative economy more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable. It brought together participants from the public sector, development agencies, civil society, and private sector in a constructive and engaging environment.\nThe morning session focused on evaluating the impact of the previous policy labs and discussing the core values that should guide Türkiye’s creative economy. Participants reflected on how key values—such as “Transparency and Participation,” “Justice and Accessibility,” “Sustainability,” “Pluralism,” and “Ethical Innovation”—are perceived and implemented in practice. These discussions helped shape a shared vision for the future of the sector.\nIn the afternoon, participants reviewed the 10-Point Policy Action Plan and Governance Methodology developed under the INSPIRE Project. The session included prioritizing action items, assessing their feasibility, and identifying potential challenges in implementation. Additionally, two new governance model proposals—Creative Industries Consultation Platform (CICP) and Creative Economy Coordination Board (CECB)—were introduced and enriched through group discussions and feedback.\nThe event concluded with a final exchange of ideas on the proposed actions. Far from merely marking the end of the series, this last lab signaled the strategic beginning of a value-based roadmap.\nOver the course of the INSPIRE Policy Labs, more than 100 stakeholders contributed to laying a solid foundation for the future of Türkiye’s creative economy.\nStay Connected for More Updates\nFollow us on social media to keep up with developments in the creative economy, project news, and upcomingevents:\n📸 Instagram: @inspire_turkiye\n🐦 X: @inspire.turkiye\n📘 Facebook: Inspire Turkiye\n💼 LinkedIn: Inspire Türkiye\n📺 YouTube: INSPIRE TR\n
