The INSPIRE Project, co-financed by the European Union and Turkey:

  • Approaches the creative economy with an inclusive and interdisciplinary perspective,
  • Aims to bring together key stakeholders of Turkey’s creative economy ecosystem with leading experts,
  • Conducts the interactive INSPIRE Masterclass series, covering five different themes.

📌 These online training sessions are designed for creative entrepreneurs, cultural entrepreneurs, institutions and organizations in the creative industries, investors, funding bodies, platforms, communities, and young people.

About Birgitta Persson

Birgitta Persson has extensive international experience in organizational development and networking in the cultural and creative sectors. She is known for her ability to bring communities together around a shared purpose and foster collaboration. Currently, she serves as a project manager at Future by Lund, an innovation platform in Sweden, where she coordinates innovation projects by bringing together diverse stakeholders, including academia, public authorities, the private sector, and civil society.

Previously, she served as the Secretary-General of Trans Europe Halles and has worked as a consultant, trainer, and mentor for cultural organizations. She also holds positions on the boards of several cultural institutions. Persson began her career as a producer, marketing communications, and fundraising specialist at Mejeriet Cultural Center in Lund, Sweden.

Each masterclass will last approximately two hours. The event will begin with a brief introduction, followed by a 55-minute presentation and a Q&A session, where participants will have the opportunity to interact with the speaker through live questions. This session will be facilitated by Sonay Ardi Akkar.
