Capacity Building – Masterclasses

As part of INSPIRE – Component B, we are developing a series of 5 live masterclasses with experts from Türkiye and Europe. 

These masterclasses will cover the 5 following topics: Care Leadership, Disruptive mindset, Critical Thinking, Adapting to Change and, Radical collaborations.

Each masterclass will last for approximately 1.5 hours and will be facilitated online. Each expert will deliver a 45 minute keynote on their topic of focus and then the masterclass will be open up to questions from the facilitator, live audience and questions by email.

The masterclasses will engage creative & cultural entrepreneurs, creative & cultural organisations/funders, creative hubs, creative & cultural students and policymakers.

Ecmel Ayral is a lecturer at Boğaziçi University and Istanbul Bilgi University, specializing in business administration with a focus on academic fields such as Organizational Theory and Chaos Theory. He has organized numerous training and development programs for major institutions and has played a role in both local and international initiatives in this field.

  • Disruptive mindset, Simon Cronshaw, REMIX (UK)
    Simon Cronshaw is a cultural entrepreneur and co-founder of REMIX Summits, which have gained significant recognition in cities such as London, New York, Sydney, Perth, Dubai, and Istanbul. These summits bring together pioneers from the creative and cultural sectors, business world, and technology industries.
  • Radical collaboration and community powerness, Atılım Şahin (TR)
    Atılım Şahin is a community weaver, facilitator, and interaction designer. He is the co-founder and COO of Neol, a community-driven platform that empowers creative leaders and talents to achieve their most meaningful work. He also supports various capacity-building activities in the field of creative entrepreneurship.

  • Birgitta Persson is a project manager at Future by Lund, an innovation platform based in Sweden. She is widely recognized for her extensive international experience in developing organizations and networks in the cultural and creative sectors.

    Leonie Bell is the Director of V&A Dundee (UK) and one of Scotland’s most experienced cultural leaders. She will explore critical thinking as a mindset for innovation and growth, demonstrating its impact on leadership in creativity and cultural transformation.
