The Second INSPIRE Istanbul Information Day Held at Rami Library

As part of the INSPIRE Project, which aims to support the transformation of Turkey’s creative economy, the Second Istanbul Information Day was held on 18 July 2025 at Rami Library with the participation of key stakeholders.

The opening speeches were delivered by Dr. Abdulvahap Yoğunlu, Head of Department at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and Dr. Ziya Taşkent, Secretary General of the Istanbul Development Agency. The speakers emphasized the strategic importance of the creative industries and the key role the INSPIRE Project plays in strengthening this field.

Following the opening remarks, Laetitia Manach, Team Leader of the INSPIRE Project, and Key Expert Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Dervişoğlu Okandan introduced the newly launched online resources available on the official project website and shared insights on the project’s upcoming steps.

One of the highlights of the day was the session titled “Inspiring Talks: Innovation and Impact in the Creative Industries.” In this session, Ali Çelik (Director of Rami Library), Fatih Eke (Technology Director at MGX Studio), and Betül Karaca (Founder of Factory of Us) shared their inspiring experiences in interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation within the creative industries.

The event concluded with a dynamic exchange of knowledge and experience, fostering collaboration in the field of creative economy. The INSPIRE Project continues to support Turkey’s creative potential through evidence-based policy development, capacity building, and multi-stakeholder cooperation.
