Training on Environmental Sustainability in Creative Economy Sectors Concluded

Within the scope of the INSPIRE Project, the “Integration of Environmental Sustainability into Creative Economy Sectors Training” was held on 18–20 August with strong participation and interaction.

Over the three-day program:

  • Through the En-ROADS Climate Action Simulation, participants re-enacted a United Nations Climate Conference, experiencing the dynamics of global climate negotiations. By proposing and agreeing on climate actions, they successfully limited the projected temperature increase to 1.7°C.
  • The importance of key measures such as reducing fossil fuel use, improving energy efficiency, electrification, nature-based carbon removal solutions, and preventing methane emissions was highlighted.
  • On the final day, participants worked on setting sustainability targets, preparing roadmaps, and scenario exercises to develop strategies tailored to the creative sectors.

The training, built on collective learning and hands-on experiences, offered participants fresh perspectives that they can transfer into their own fields.

The INSPIRE Project believes that these steps taken to strengthen ecological sustainability in the creative sectors will create a much broader impact in the future.
